About Victoria Youth Soccer Organization
The Victoria Youth Soccer Organization (VYSO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Victoria the opportunity to play both competitive and recreational soccer. VYSO is a member of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association, whose motto is “Soccer, the game for all kids.” The VYSO Board of Directors is dedicated to providing kids the opportunity to have fun while learning the game of soccer in an environment that promotes good sportsmanship.
Registration is open to children ages 4 through 18, with recreation soccer teams for players under the age of 15, and competitive players ages 11 through 18. Competitive “select” soccer teams form after tryouts that are held during the month of May of each year. Registration fees for select teams cover both the Fall and Spring seasons. Registration for recreational teams is open both in the summer for the Fall season and during January/February for the Spring season. Teams are redrafted each fall, and players added/new teams formed around the Fall season core teams each spring.
